
Meet David Lanciano
Let's meet the owner. Lanciano's Italian Catering Kitchen is veteran owned and operated business started by David Lanciano which he did because of his love of for being in the kitchen, creating food for his family and friends. He always wanted to start a catering business with a focus on homestyle Italian cuisine, with an emphasis based on traditional Italian family recipes so he has. David began his culinary journey at a young age cooking in the kitchen at home, but it wasn’t until age 53 when he decided to seriously take his interest in food to the next level. The time was right in his life to get back to college to fulfil his dream of one day becoming a Professional Chef and in doing so began his training at Manchester Community College's in its Culinary Arts Program. David has several Chef's that he routinely follows closely (Food Network and PBS cooking shows always seem to be his "go to" television programs) but none more than three-star Michelin Chef Jacques Pepin. He even got a chance to meet Jacque during a brief encounter at the Chicago O’Hare airport on a return flight back to Connecticut one afternoon. Traveling is also a passion, and it is through those adventures he continues his search for his favorite culinary experience by tasting and trying to prepare the local foods of the many countries he has visited. The food experience that he wants to deliver to you has motivated him to create his catering business.
